This is the perfect activity to send home after reading Little Blue and Little Yellow by Leo Lionni. Give each child a baggy with one little blue ball of play dough and one little yellow ball of play dough. Attach this note to the baggy and have the students bring it home. The note invites parents to ask their child about the story and retell it to them using the play dough. The perfect science experiment for spring~ dissecting a bean! A bean is a seed with many parts. Soaking the bean for 24 hours will allow the students to open it and see inside. Their predictions and observations can be recorded on this printable.
